Busch Finds Success At NPE

Busch USA exhibited at the well-attended NPE show in Orlando, Florida, April 1-5, 2012. Busch was one of 1933 exhibitors that hosted over 55,000 professionals from the plastics industry throughout the week. Busch had for display two of our Dolphin Liquid Ring pumps and a running cutaway that showed in detail the operating principle of our dry-running Mink rotary claw pumps. In addition to collaborating with current customers and finding out what new and exciting developments are happening in the plastics market, Busch received over 120 leads from interested, prospective customers!

Busch Gives A Helping Hand

With the coordination and leadership of the Community Service Committee, Busch has been very busy with fundraisers and community support over the last few months.
In August, Busch raised $411 towards school supplies for local children. Busch also had lots of fun playing in a dodgeball tournament that supported the Horizon of Hampton Roads and The Samaritan House.
In September, Busch raised $467.60 for the Navy Seal Foundation, and a whopping $1,709 for the American Cancer Society through donations and the 3 mile Breast Cancer Walk.
In October, $415 was raised to support the have Light the Night Walk.
During the holiday season, Busch will participate in a food drive and Toys for Tots.

The Community Service Committee at Busch USA is always on the lookout for ways that we can be active within and around our community. Recently, Busch employee's have raised $405 for the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation; $510 for the March of Dimes Organization; and have collected/purchased a large truck load of donation items to give to the victims of recent tornado's in our Virginia Beach headquarters' neighboring Gloucester County.

Busch USA Donated items to the Salvation Army for the Angel Tree Program

Busch USA collected toys and monetary contributions for the Angel Tree program this holiday season. A total of $350 was collected along with many toys that were donated by employees. The items were all donated to the Salvation Army so that they may use them towards the Angel Tree program for local children.

Busch collected $3,630 for the American Cancer Society

In 2010, Busch collected a total of $3,630 for the American Cancer Society. Contributions were collected through breast cancer awareness t-shirt sales, a 50/50 raffle, a "jeans day" in which employees paid $5 towards the cause to wear jeans to work, and the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walk that was held on October 9th. A total of $1,815 was raised by Busch employees and that amount was matched by Busch USA for a total of $3,630. Busch extends a big "thank you" to all employees and supporters who helped us contribute to this worthy cause.

Busch to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Busch USA employees will be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Virginia Beach, VA on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. The walk is an opportunity to raise awareness of breast cancer and to raise money for the cause. Busch also raises money for the American Cancer Society by selling raffle tickets and having a "jeans day," that permits employees to wear jeans to work with a $5 donation.
